Video - FOX News - The McCain/Levin Bill calling the U.S. a Battlefield with military being able to detain U.S. citizens! I am impressed a MSM has brought this to light!

UPDATE - 11/29/11 - 5:15PM EST - THE SENATE HAS COMMITTED TREASON! THEY VOTED FOR THE BILL!  THEY ARE NOW THE TERRORIST AGAINST THE U.S. PEOPLE!

UPDATE - 11/30/11 - SIGN THE PETITION TO IMPEACH ALL SENATORS WHO COMMITTED TREASON AGAINST THE U.S. PEOPLE AND CONSTITUTION!

I am impressed FOX news brought to light the McCain/Levin bill (which is going to be voted on today 11/29/11) declares the U.S. a battlefield and allows the military to arrest U.S. citizens and hold them without trial or reason for the rest of their lives!

ADDED - The Hill has an article about this - it PASSED through the Armed Services committee of the Senate and Reid is bringing to to the floor on a cloture vote!!!
Portions:

Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.) plans to hold a cloture vote Wednesday for the defense authorization bill, and the Senate hopes to wrap up the bill with a final vote by Thursday, Armed Services Committee Chairman Carl Levin (D-Mich.) said Monday.

Levin is not backing down from the fight, and he took it public on Monday along with ranking member Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.), as the pair penned a Washington Post op-ed calling their approach to terror detention a “balanced” one.
Thank God - McCain did NOT become the President!  is there ANYONE in Government that is "For the People" anymore?

All senators and elected officials who vote for this bill will be committing treason against the U.S. Citizens!

I wrote about this 3 days ago. I am still urging everyone to go through the ACLU site and sign your name to a letter that goes to your Senator.

Thank you, FOX News for mentioning this bill. It is not often a MSM actually provides real news to the public that matters, but FOX news did.

  1. Hmmm..."you can see no reason why the Military would be used?". How about civil unrest resulting from people loosing their pensions? their houses, their safety and their freedom? How about revolt resulting from unemployment and higher taxes?

There's a lot of reasons, and they are already prepared for a mass up-rising

  2. I grew up in Northern Ireland in the sixties under avery repressive government. The Civil rights movement was born and we marched and protested for equal rights in jobs and housing and one man one vote. we were beaten and thrown into rivers by the police and rioting broke out in the cities and towns and when the police and local militias brutality was shown on
tv the world over the government collapsed. Then came" Direct Rule" and the arrival of the British army and the "Emergency Powers Act", "Internment".The local militia the "B Specials" gave the Brits information about their local neighbours and acting upon this mostly bias and bogus information they brutally swept across the land at night and arrested hundreds of mostly young married men [catholic] and locked them away for years without trial, those who were tried were tried under the "Diplock court" system, whereby you went before a prejudged judge only,no jury then at least you knew how long you had to serve, most times for no crime at all just civil disobedience. Why am i writing about this? I see a very dangerous presitence being set here in America if this bill passes into the law of what i thought was this great land. Historically when the native revolted the Brits quickly introduced "Draconian Rule". Why this bill at this time? Will the "Occupiers" be informed on by "Homeland Security" under "if you see something say something". They may not have colonized our land in 1812 thanks to our forefathers, but have they colonized our minds in 2012 thanks to our foreskins. Maybe the apple or the "nut" hasnt fallen too far from the tree after all. Who coined the phrase
'divide and Conquer"? Americans Democrat,Independant, and Republican need to unite and vote a resounding NO,NO,NO to this very dangerous and thatcherous to the constitution of AMERICA bill before its too late. I think ill go to Pennsylvania and join the Amish while theres still time and food.God bless us all.

  3. My Senator, Senator Rand Paul of Kentucky, voted against the bill along with a few others. He gave a moving address to the Senate as to the reasons the bill should not be passed. I have written him and expressed my gratitude to him that he is an Honorable Senator.

Should this bill become law, I imagine we will be marching toward a new military world order.

I wish to express my gratitude to you, also, for seeking the truth and publishing it.
