The Senate rejected an amendment on Tuesday that would have removed a provision from the pending Defense spending bill to toughen U.S. policy towards suspected terrorists captured on the battlefield or on the home front.

The amendment, defeated 37-61, would have struck a section of the spending bill that authorizes the president to use “all necessary and appropriate force” to detain people suspected of terrorism and instead would have implemented a timeline to allow further hearings and opportunities for the military to make recommendations on how detainee policy ought to change.

Those Senators are all now Terrorist to the U.S. people!

They could have taken out the McCain/Levin portion of the bill - instead they kept it in!

There is NO way those few people can be allowed to shred the U.S. constitution and declare WAR on EVERY U.S. Citizen!

Edit to add  9:18 PM est- A thought I had.  Is it possible as a U.S. Citizen to make a citizens arrest of a terrorist?  Is it possible as a U.S. Citizen to make a Citizen's arrest of someone who has committed treason against the people of the United States?  Will those in law enforcement allow the treason?  This IS Treason!  They directly declared war against the U.S. public!  The emperor is now bare naked they are not even hiding in sheep's clothing anymore.  They are revealing themselves to be directly against the people of the United States.  So I want to know... Can we as citizens make an arrest of a Senator for committing treason and being a terrorist?

With this the Senators again went DIRECTLY AGAINST the people's Will and Wishes!  More people contacted them AGAINST the bill and they IGNORED THE PEOPLE!  From that Alone all of the Senators need to be IMPEACHED!  A petition needs to be started to IMPEACH ALL THE SENATORS WHO VOTED AGAINST THE PEOPLE'S WISHES AND DIRECTLY AGAINST THE BILL OF RIGHTS AND CONSTITUTION OF THE UNITED STATES!  WE THE PEOPLE DO HAVE THE POWER TO GET THEM OUT OF OFFICE!

UPDATE 11/30/11 - 9:32 AM EST - Not ONE Single MSM online news site (CNN, FOX, MSNBC, CBS etc) has ANYTHING about the Senate Voting yesterday to Allow the Military to Arrest - Detain - U.S. citizens without any rights at all for the rest of their lives! 

I sincerely hope that Obama actually follows through on this one promise of vetoing the bill, due to this McCain/Levin section of it!

Edit to add - 11/30/11 - It seems many people are worried about me getting picked up now due to my stance on what the Senators did and my starting a petition.

I would like to say - First to the authorities reading this blog. At no time am I condoning violence and when you read the definition of both Terrorist and Treason you see how it exactly applies to what the Senators did yesterday directly against the U.S. citizens and U.S. constitution.

Also, Yes I am voicing my opinion. If I did not and was living in fear that voicing my opinion will get me picked up, then they will have won. The only way to live life is to stand up for what you believe in and truth! My truth is where We the People are able to over come and Win by standing up for each other and taking action - as with my petition I started for Impeachment of the Senators. Even if that does not go far - it will send a message that we are not going to live in fear of what they will/could do to us.

I am asking for a peaceful standing up to the treason committed and I am standing by what I have said in this post.
