Are you Frickin Kidding Me? Fed Govt and Alaskan State Govt. Say NO To Testing Fish for Radiation out of Alaska! "No Need they say"!

Between the Gulf of Mexico Oil Leak and all the dead sea animals washing up onshore this year from dolphins to Sea Turtles and the Federal Govt. refusing to allow independent scientist to even touch or investigate the deaths to now the radiation in the Pacific ...

Obama put a gag order on the reason for the deaths of the sea life in the Gulf of Mexico (as if we don't know what caused them - Duh BP!)

As I have awakened to what really has been going on in the world I see more and more how the governments work for corporations and not for the people over and over again.

Another perfect example is the U.S. Federal Government and the Alaskan State Government are saying they will not test any fish from Alaska for radiation!

Portion from article - about FDA refusing to test fish for radiation

(AP) ANCHORAGE, Alaska - North Pacific fish are so unlikely to be contaminated by radioactive material from the crippled nuclear plant in Japan that there’s no reason to test them, according to federal and state of Alaska health officials.

Dangerous levels of radiation have been reported off the coast from the Fukushima reactor complex. However, a spokeswoman for the federal Food and Drug Administration told the Anchorage Daily News that the ocean is so huge, and Alaska fisheries so far away, that there is no realistic threat.
Alaska’s food safety program manager, Ron Klein of the Department of Environmental Conservation, said the FDA and the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration have demonstrated that Alaskans have no cause for worry.

"Based on the work they’re doing, no sampling or monitoring of our fish is necessary," he said.

NOAA fisheries spokeswoman Kate Naughton declined to answer questions and referred a reporter back to DeLancey and the EPA.

I would like to know how they have demonstrated there is no need to test the seafood for radiation, what did they do exactly?  Did they just say "The ocean is so big, no worries"?

I would like to know what Western Canadian government officials are doing and if they will test the seafood out of the Pacific in their waters?

  1. The model of the dispersion in seawater of radionuclides emitted by the Fukushima nuclear plant exists:
