Do we have any rights left? NO rights to Privacy. FBI spy real time on emails and chats

Where the hell is our Rights to privacy?  How is this happening?  Have we been so complacent in the U.S. that we have literally had everyone of our Rights stolen away all for "The good of the homeland?"

The FBI wants to be able to read our emails and chats as they happen.  Where is the warrants for that?   Oh but wait, the 'Wiretap Act' is what allows them to do that.   Of course as with any bills that are broad and without defined barriers the government expands them as they will.

I want people to think about that and what it means for drones in the future.  The placement of drones is very broad in the U.S.  But of course the government says "We will never abuse it".  Yeah Right!  What B.S.!  They get a bill pushed through that ultimately takes away our Freedoms!

What is this country going to look like in only 10 short years?  What kind of surveillance country will we have?  Will we end up having something in our homes that watches what we do and the government can view it in real time?

I sincerely believe there is going to be a tipping point that many will wake up at one time and when they fully realize what is happening and how we have become a Orwellian country, chaos will ensue.

Despite the pervasiveness of law enforcement surveillance of digital communication, the FBI still has a difficult time monitoring Gmail, Google Voice, and Dropbox in real time. But that may change soon, because the bureau says it has made gaining more powers to wiretap all forms of Internet conversation and cloud storage a “top priority” this year.

Last week, during a talk for the American Bar Association in Washington, D.C., FBI general counsel Andrew Weissmann discussed some of the pressing surveillance and national security issues facing the bureau. He gave a few updates on the FBI’s efforts to address what it calls the “going dark” problem—how the rise in popularity of email and social networks has stifled its ability to monitor communications as they are being transmitted. It’s no secret that under the Electronic Communications Privacy Act, the feds can easily obtain archive copies of emails. When it comes to spying on emails or Gchat in real time, however, it’s a different story.

That’s because a 1994 surveillance law called the Communications Assistance for Law Enforcement Act only allows the government to force Internet providers and phone companies to install surveillance equipment within their networks. But it doesn’t cover email, cloud services, or online chat providers like Skype. Weissmann said that the FBI wants the power to mandate real-time surveillance of everything from Dropbox and online games (“the chat feature in Scrabble”) to Gmail and Google Voice. “Those communications are being used for criminal conversations,” he said.

Either way, the FBI is not happy with the current arrangement and is on a crusade for more surveillance authority. According to Weissmann, the bureau is working with “members of intelligence community” to craft a proposal for new Internet spy powers as “a top priority this year.” Citing security concerns, he declined to reveal any specifics. “It's a very hard thing to talk about publicly,” he said, though acknowledged that “it's something that there should be a public debate about.”

Iceland kicked OUT the FBI when they arrived to investigate Wikileaks! AWESOME!

Now this is one of those events where you jump up and say "F YEAH!"   

When the  Minister of the Interior of Iceland found out that FBI had arrived in a private jet at the airport to investigate Wikileaks.  He got right on it and kicked them OUT of the Country of Iceland!  He said they were not welcomed in Iceland and made them leave!
(This happened in 2011 but the information about it is just being released today)

A group of FBI agents arrived in Iceland in August 2011, requesting collaboration with Icelandic police authorities to investigate Wikileaks, as revealed by Wikileaks spokesperson Kristinn Hrafnsson on RÚV’s news magazine Kastljós last night.

“The FBI came here in a private jet and landed at Reykjavík Airport. According to my information—which is very solid and I have had it confirmed—Minister of the Interior Ögmundur Jónasson was notified of their arrival and reacted angrily because it is unbelievably presumptuous to come here this way,” Kristinn stated.“According to my information, he demanded that these agents pack their bags, embark the plane and leave the country,” Kristinn added. “I know that this was later discussed within the government, which formally objected to U.S. authorities.”

Ögmundur confirmed Kristinn’s statement to RÚV, saying a group of foreign agents came to the country in August 2011, requesting assistance to investigate a certain affair. Their request was rejected as it is unnatural for foreign police forces to carry out investigations in Iceland, the minister reasoned.

I would love to live in Iceland if it wasn't always so cold!  What a great country.  I have written about them previously and how they convicted the bankers for the collapse.

FBI labeling "Occupy Movement" as "Domestic Terrorists". But the FBI themselves are the ones inside it, that planned all 'foiled bombings'

The FBI is labeling the "Occupy Movement" as domestic terrorists now. They are doing this due to "foiled bombing" plots. But get this..... all those plots of bombing.... were by inside under cover FBI agents. So it was all a set up to stop the Occupy Movement.

One thing I would like to make clear. I believe all the misinformation of who is involved and behind the Occupy movement is ALL disinfo. This way people do not join en-mass. This way people stay away from coming together against the fraud of Wall Street. The amount of disinfo is amazing. The Occupy movement is by "The People" who are trying to stand up to the Fraud of Wall Street, especially since the SEC and Government will not.

Now the government will really keep people from joining together against Wall Street fraud, because if people do they then will be "Terrorists."
 
Is this another way they take away our Freedom of Speech (what little is left) as you are labeled a Terrorist if you stand up to the Fraud?

FBI distributes Flyers for Surplus Store to Spy on it's Customers - Wants names kept to give to FBI

Oath Keepers has found the FBI has distributed flyers to Surplus stores asking them to spy on their customers.

Oath Keepers Exclusive:  An FBI Denver Joint Terrorism Task Force handout being distributed to Colorado military surplus store owners lists the purchase of popular preparedness items and firearms accessories as “suspicious” and “potential indicators of terrorist activities,” instructing store owners to keep records on and report people who:

“Make bulk purchase of items to include:

Weatherproofed ammunition or match containers
Meals Ready to Eat
Night Vision Devices; night flashlights; gas masks
High capacity magazines
Bi-pods or tri-pods for rifles”

The FBI handout, entitled “Communities Against Terrorism: Potential Indicators of Terrorist Activities Related to Military Surplus Stores” also instructs surplus store owners to:

“Require valid ID from all new customers.
Keep records of purchases.
Talk to customers, ask questions, and
listen to and observe their responses.
Watch for people and actions that are out of place.
Make note of suspicious statements, people, and /or vehicles.
If something seems wrong, notify law enforcement authorities.”

The handout also instructs surplus store owners to consider as “suspicious” anyone who “demands identity ‘privacy’” or anyone who expresses “extreme religious statements” and those who “make suspicious comments regarding anti-US, [or] radical theology.”

Freedom of Demonstration - Freedom of Speech? FBI Raids Anti War Peaceful Demonstrators Homes - Says they can be "Terrorist Links, due to them Demonstrating"

So, now it seems to you voice your opinion by Peaceful Demonstration and exercising your Freedom of Speech in what you believe in, you can be labeled a possible Terrorist and have your home raided.

That is exactly what has happened to five Antiwar activist in Minneapolis, they had their houses raided along with the local antiwar activist office, by the FBI.

The FBI sited "Possible Terrorist link" due to them being Antiwar activist.

The FBI raided the Minneapolis homes of five antiwar activists, including three leaders of the Twin Cities peace movement, Friday morning as part of what it called a probe of "activities concerning the material support of terrorism."

The Minneapolis office of an antiwar organization was also raided, protest leaders said. No one was arrested in any of the raids.

The federal search warrants in Minneapolis were related to an ongoing Joint Terrorism Task Force, Warfield said. He offered no details.

Protest leaders said the raids surprised them. Mick Kelly, whose home was searched, played a central role in the 2008 demonstrations at the Republican National Convention in St. Paul. Asked if he was involved in illegal activities, he replied, "Absolutely not.''

 More and more, it seems to look like, if we try to exert what people think are our freedom of speech and peaceful demonstration, we are labeled possible terrorist in the eyes of the government.  Yet, the U.S.  government leaders love to speak out about other countries quelling their citizens demonstrations.  They have become full of double standards "Do as we say, not as we do". 

I am just waiting for their next step of stopping any internet voices on blogs and independent media who do not agree with the road the U.S. is going down.  Until that time, I will still give my peaceful opinion on what I believe is happening.
