WOW - Michael Jackson Video "They Don't Really Care about us" - He really hit the mark with this!

I came across this video for the first time ever today.  I was not a big fan of Michael Jackson once he began changing himself.  I believed all the allegations against him, but now I wonder if all was true?  He wrote some very powerful songs in his last few years.

I had heard this song before but did not really pay attention to the words "They don't really care about us".
Today I watched the video for the first time.  Very powerful and true song.  This video makes a powerful statement.  I had inserted his Earth Song previously.  I will reinsert it here, as it is such a powerful song also!

Here is Michael Jackson's Video "They Don't Really Care About Us"

Here is Michael Jackson's Powerful "Earth" video *complete words to the Earth Song are in this post*

It is a shame now that he is dead, I am finding out about these amazing powerful songs he wrote in the last years of his life. RIP Michael. I have so much more respect for him now than I did before his death, which is sad. It shows how the media will spin people's opinions. Michael Jackson may have been the greatest performer ever.

Michael Jackson's EARTH Song - It was the last song he did the Video and Words are Powerful!

I feel the need to put this song on the blog, due to all that is going on.  This song is so powerful!

This was Michael Jackson's last song he did with a video.  It is "The Earth Song".  I am including the words. They are after the video.

With all that is happening in the world, sometimes we have to take a step back and reflect on what is important but also what a few are doing to the Earth. All of us on a whole Love the Earth and appreciate her, but those behind the power of governments only see money as their Love.

The Earth is hurting right now, from BP's oil in the Gulf, the chemicals used are affecting our food, the gulf stream has stopped and now a mini ice age has begun. Besides the threats of nuclear war from one country to another.

So I ask everyone..... What about our Earth? What about that one most precious thing we have that provides us life? Do we think about our Earth? Does those in power and behind the governments think about our Earth in their decisions? Including having all genetically modified foods, now that S510 food safety bill has passed.

Listen to this song................... It is powerful!

He used real people in the video they are not actors and the events really happened where the people were.

"Earth Song"

What about sunrise
What about rain
What about all the things
That you said we were to gain...
What about killing fields
Is there a time
What about all the things
That you said was yours and mine...
Did you ever stop to notice
All the blood we've shed before
Did you ever stop to notice
The crying Earth the weeping shores?

Aaaaaaaaah Oooooooooh
Aaaaaaaaah Oooooooooh

What have we done to the world
Look what we've done
What about all the peace
That you pledge your only son...
What about flowering fields
Is there a time
What about all the dreams
That you said was yours and mine...
Did you ever stop to notice
All the children dead from war
Did you ever stop to notice
The crying Earth the weeping shores

Aaaaaaaaah Oooooooooh
Aaaaaaaaah Oooooooooh

I used to dream
I used to glance beyond the stars
Now I don't know where we are
Although I know we've drifted far

Aaaaaaaaah Oooooooooh
Aaaaaaaaah Oooooooooh
Aaaaaaaaah Oooooooooh
Aaaaaaaaah Oooooooooh

Hey, what about yesterday
(What about us)
What about the seas
(What about us)
The heavens are falling down
(What about us)
I can't even breathe
(What about us)
What about apathy
(What about us)
I need you
(What about us)
What about nature's worth
(ooo, ooo)
It's our planet's womb
(What about us)
What about animals
(What about it)
We've turned kingdoms to dust
(What about us)
What about elephants
(What about us)
Have we lost their trust
(What about us)
What about crying whales
(What about us)
We're ravaging the seas
(What about us)
What about forest trails
(ooo, ooo)
Burnt despite our pleas
(What about us)
What about the holy land
(What about it)
Torn apart by creed
(What about us)
What about the common man
(What about us)
Can't we set him free
(What about us)
What about children dying
(What about us)
Can't you hear them cry
(What about us)
Where did we go wrong
(ooo, ooo)
Someone tell me why
(What about us)
What about babies
(What about it)
What about the days
(What about us)
What about all their joy
(What about us)
What about the man
(What about us)
What about the crying man
(What about us)
What about Abraham
(What about us)
What about death again
(ooo, ooo)
Do we give a damn

Aaaaaaaaah Oooooooooh
