I cast the Last Vote of my Life Yesterday! I shall Never Vote Again - Federal nor State Level, they are All Puppets of their Masters!

Yesterday for the primaries I voted for the last time of my life.  I had always considered voting was important part of being a citizen of the U.S..  I have voted in every election once I moved up to the states from the Virgin Islands and was first able to vote in 1990.

I remember the excitement of being able to vote in my first Presidential election.  It was between Clinton, Bush and Ross Perot.  I leaned towards Perot, until he quit the race and then came back into the race.

I actually believed in the system before becoming what I believe is awake and aware.  I actually believed Obama and all of his lies he spewed in 2008.  I was sucked into the lies and promises, which is what they counted on.

I immediately knew they were all lies somehow on the day of his inauguration.  I don't know how, but as I watched him take the Oath of office, I knew the man would not be what he claimed to be and he would not follow through on any of his promises.

I did not expect him to do the opposite of every promise though.  To me the man is as evil as you can get.  Due to lying and then doing the absolute opposite of what he sucked people into thinking.  That man has given away the country in full to special interest and the banks.  He has chained people down, taken away their wealth and taken away every freedom we had.  The only freedom left is the right to bear arms and they were doing the "Fast and Furious" to try and take that one away until they were caught.

The amount of fraud that all banks and corporations are getting away with, sanctified by all in the Federal Government at every level and sanctified by all at every level in the state governments, shows they have all sold their souls.

I could never morally vote for anyone who has sold their soul to be elected by lying to the people.

Understand there is not one difference between any person in government at any level, they are all game playing.  There is no democracy left in the United States and don't believe a single word any of the puppets are promising that are running for president.

This is my promise, I shall never step foot into a voting booth again.  The voting is fraud here in the U.S. just like it is fraud elsewhere in the world.  All votes are turned to be what those who control the machines want them to be.

Ron Paul has had the votes stolen from him, through out the state primaries.

The information that Kucinich lost his seat helps solidify the knowledge of elections stole.  Kucinich actually voted for the people and not corporations or banks.  He was like Ron Paul and stood with Ron Paul.  I can't believe those in his district would vote against our constitution.

I can now say, I will no longer play their game nor will I be a part of it.  I am free from their having me be a part of taking away our freedoms.  By not participating I am now, not helping their agenda along.   I will now be working against the agenda and not sanctifying it with a vote welcoming it and thus gives my permission to it.

But by walking in and only casting one vote yesterday for Ron Paul, I believe I was then saying "I am no longer part of the control, as I am voting for Freedom."  I made my point - I walked in and cast the one vote and disregarded all the state election primaries.  It was my vote for freedom that I needed to make my own statement.

I am no longer giving my permission and voting for my freedoms being taken away.  By voting you allow it and sanctify what they are doing!  Do not sanctify or play their game anymore! I am not giving them my permission for their agenda anymore, by voting for those who are carrying out the agendas.

NEWS ADDED 3/9/12 - 7:20AM est - Goldman Sachs releases notice to U.S. government - Debt to Banks is to be paid BEFORE Social Security and  Medicare benefits to U.S. citizens!

  1. I fully understand you. I live in Germany and our choice is between pestilence and cholera. There is not even a Ron Paul. May be I´ll vote for the Pirate Party, other than that I will not vote at all.

    1. And the same type of extremely PC modern "liberals" here in the United States are trying to make things just as stagnant and choice-less as it is in your nation and the rest of Europe.

    2. Instead of not voting again and giving what is left of our freedoms, our country away; how about demanding we get a honest vote. Not sure how, but I don't care if we each write it on a paper with a pen, then choosing 5 random voters at small voting areas, and more at larger voting areas to watch the ones who are "running' the voting, counting, etc to help keep them honest. Any ideas anyone?

Then also start calling for the arrests and prosecutions of the *domestic enemies and **Oath breakers within the three branches of our fed gov. Remember that America is a Constitutional Republic. A Constitutional Republic has some similarities to democracy in that it uses democratic processes to elect representatives and pass new laws, etc. The critical difference lies in the fact that a Constitutional Republic has a Constitution that limits the powers of the government, nor does it allow for those who serve within our gov to take more powers for themselves (No matter what illusion of legitimacy they give that, It is NOT legal here). It is the blueprint for exactly how our federal government is structured, creating checks on its power and balancing the power between the different branches. Plus it puts into writing the protections of our natural rights from those who serve within our fed gov.
Amendment 10 makes it clear that the States and the people do NOT have limits on their powers, only our federal government does so it would not be able to "enslave the populace".

*"Domestic enemies pursue legislation, programs against the powers of the US Constitution. They work on destroying and weakening the Rights of the People guaranteed by the Constitution. Plus they create laws, amendments, etc that goes against the restraint on the three branches of our government by the Constitution"
**The three branches of our government, the military, all law enforcement, the heads of the States, all federal employees are required to take an Oath to support and defend the Constitution and not an individual leader, ruler, office, or entity. Once given, the Oath is binding for life, unless renounced, refused, and abjured. It does not cease upon the occasions of leaving office or of discharge.
(The president takes an oath to preserve, protect, and defend the US Constitution)
The wording of the Presidential Oath was established in the Constitution in Article II, Section 1, Clause 10. The requirement for all Federal and State Civil officers to give their solemn and binding Oath is established in Article VI, Section 1, Clause 4. They are BOUND by their Oath to support the Constitution, and should they abrogate their Oath by their acts or inaction, are subject to charges of impeachment and censure.

  2. Let them announce they have a mandate from just 5% of the population. Don't add your vote to their totals since it won't be counted correctly anyway!

    YOUR VOTE WON'T CHANGE ANYTHING!!

All I can say is Wow and you are reading my mind......but I have the mission to save this Nation....you and I see the problem....how do we fix it or do we fix it for ourselves......I'm here in CA.....Dr. Paul was my congressman back in TX....and I see the need to wake up people here.....and perhaps get him a state with some electoral votes.....but then again, I think you and I both see where this is going....but don't give up....then they win....get involved in your local elections....I help to change the political landscape of Galveston County, TX in 2010....and know most of the people I helped to elect......they still return my calls and e-mails.....these are the people who run your daily life......never forget the power of one.....

  5. One quote I like a lot: If voting could change anything, it would have been outlawed long ago.

    ReplyDelete
  6. I did the same a few days ago. I stood at the Diebold machine and I stared at Ron Paul's name. I said to myself, "This is the last time I will be able to vote for this man." When I cast the vote, I felt a sense of elation. Then on the way home, I cried.

It's over. I will not buy into their system ever again. It's evil. I will not condone it.

  7. I've been saying this for years. By voting in fraudulent elections you are legitimatizing fraud and enabling the resulting corrupt criminal government. Voting for the lesser evil is still evil and doesn't change anything. If you know someone is cheating at poker and wins every hand do you continue to play? Is anyone that stupid? Apparently, most Americans are.

    1. Excellent point about refusing to play poker with someone who cheats. I stopped voting about fifteen years ago, after I had spent the day working in one of the pols up in Maine. That was the day they brought in busload after busload of elderly people from some facility - I do not recall anyone saying just where these people had come from. It may have been the same people, circled around and recycled several times over. There were a few I recognized on each bus. When I asked one of the old men what his name was, I was told, "Don't ask him - he doesn't know."

The politician who was in there glad-handing everyone who entered that day, just grinned and said, "Democracy at work, folks. Isn't it wonderful that everyone has a chance to vote!"

Everything I have read and seen since has told me I made the right decision when I decided not to vote again.

  8. Definitely, don't give up; we can use our anger to motivate us to get rid of these crooked voting machines. Lets get back to the paper ballot; or a more secure online voting system with a printable receipt to prove your vote. Take the system back.

    1. The system is just one part of it. They took away the last chance for freedom we had, by stealing the votes from Ron Paul. He was literally the last real person who stood up for the People! There is no other in the government that is For the People anymore. You see everyone is a puppet, who is there left in D.C. to vote for in any election? Walking away from their game and not giving them the permission anymore to do as they have done is by never voting again for a puppet. If I vote for a puppet, then I am giving my permission to to do whatever they want, as I helped put the person where they are. This is at every level of government, even the local level.

  9. I can't believe you voted for oBama.

All you had to do was listen to Rush Limbaugh before the election and you simply could not vote for the guy.

Rush was playing all his anti-American radical speech and you KNEW what would happen if he was president.

There is simply no excuse for your ignorance and I am SHOCKED you voted for this guy. Simply SHOCKED!

You could detect the sadness and defeat in Rush voice the next day when oBama got elected.

    1. Don't worry my vote didn't count the state went to McCain.

But to say there is no excuse for my ignorance? I believe that is a little too harsh. Obama talked a good game and made promises of restoring our country back to what it was suppose to be.

Between a war monger - McCain, or someone saying No war and freedoms back... it really wasn't a hard decision for me at the time.

I became awake and aware right after though. In fact I believe I awoke that November after the election.

But they are all the same and controlled by the same people behind them. That is why I won't vote ever again. But I did stand for our freedom yesterday and I stood for the country, by voting for Ron Paul.

      Delete
    2. One other thing, I don't listen to Rush, I don't listen to anyone who tries and causes divisions of the people. That is the way they control the people, by one side hating the other. Rush is part of their game and the hate he spews is horrendous. They keep people divided, so people don't get together and join forces, that is the way they can get by with what they do.

      Delete
    3. Are you sure it is Rush and not you that already has division PEGGED in your mind????

I have listened to Rush for years and he simply states facts based on empirical evidence. You may not like the party that covets the rich to the point of deceit and corruption much to everyone's ruin.

But you simply are seeing the result of coveting by Democrats and their constituents for more than a 100 years using a very undemocratic and illegal tax system.

YEP, we now are so over our heads in debt it will now cause WW3 to reset. Thanks Democrats, for envying and coveting and breaking the last Commandment.

      Delete
    4. Thank you for proving my point with your comment about the division of people.

I would like you to take a look at all votes that really mattered and took away our rights, raised the debt ceiling and everything else. Both sides yelled and screamed but when it came down to it, the bills and everything gets through.

I am sorry you have never seen that it is all a game and each side is playing their role, yet they all controlled by the same master behind doors. It is a game to keep people divided and for people to hate one group. Very smart of them, that way people don't get together. They think their side is actually working for them. But people seem to like to forget their side always votes with the other side.

Again you provided my point. If you notice I don't divide people on this blog. Just imagine if everyone got smart and realized there is no left and right in D.C. - there are only puppets.

Are you sure Rush doesn't work to make sure there is a division in the people? You sure he doesn't spew hate to get people riled up against other people? Use critical thinking about it.

      Delete
    5. The only division I know of is the what the Democrat party is doing to you and all Americans, but for some reason you blame Rush for it.

Now I don't expect anyone who voted for oBama to get it right off the bat.

That's saying all a lot about Democrat deceit and how easily most Americans fall for their spiel and get them to break the last but not least Commandment NOT TO COVET!

Don't fall for it and keep them (the Democrats) out of power and see if your life does not get better instead of bitter.

      Delete
    6. WOW, talk about buying the divisions hook line and sinker. You really do have a lot of hate you need to release. You are the perfect example of the good job that those who are in power have done to divide people. Also I am not the one spouting bitter words. I believe and have the faith that one day people will wake up and realize we all need to work together. I really don't have anything more to say, except I really do feel bad for you. You obviously have so much hate and anger, but it is directed the wrong way.

  10. As a thought: I think, that not voting plays into their hands! Why ? Because even if only 100 people vote, 52 for Democrats and 48 for Republican the vote is 52% vs. 48% where does that change anything against those thiving idiots ? We need to vote, even if we just write NONE OF THE ABOVE or vote for the beerdrinkers of America etc. so they see, that people are pissed. Since we don't do anything as a nation YET, to drive them to fear we need to send signals. We the people need to get a lot angrier and more united to draw the redline for the politicians. A start would be to realize that it does not matter if you are Democrat or Republican, don't let them press you into a form....don't feel offended if someone calls you a Liberal, most people don't even know what that is anyway. Ron Paul is a Liberal, so it can't be too bad :-)

    2. Pathetic, isn't it?

Ask voters if they approve of the job that Congress is doing, and more than 90% of them will say they do not.

Then ask them who they're voting for, and most will name an incumbent or former Member of Congress.

Not that it really matters. Nowadays the President starts wars without even bothering to notify Congress. After all, Congress will have to fund the wars or be accused of endangering national security.

The President does seek UN or international approval, but when he doesn't get it, the US acts unilaterally.

A lot of liberals think their votes must be valuable because the Republicans openly engage in voter suppression. It doesn't occur to them that the reason the Republicans engage in voter suppression is to make gullible voters think that their uncounted votes are valuable.

The corporations spend billions of dollars on elections and they donate in almost equal amounts to both major parties, so no matter who wins, the corporations always win. The purpose of elections is to give the corporate puppets in government the appearance of having the consent of the governed, but the governed don't really have a choice.

As I posted in another comment below, what this country needs are Voters Anonymous groups to help people kick their election addictions.

Hi! My name is Mark. I'm a recovering voter. I've been sober for six years now. I'd really hit rock bottom back then. I voted in every election and I researched each issue and candidate carefully. I really thought my vote could make a difference and I kept voting and voting until my country had lost its manufacturing base, had more prisoners than any other country in the world, constantly engaged in wars of aggression based on lies, and had defrauded taxpayers of trillions of dollars. Our roads and schools were in disrepair, whole families were homeless, we had 24 vacant homes for every homeless person, and our biggest export was weapons designed only to kill people. And then I found Voters Anonymous. I learned that even if I couldn't make things better, I didn't have to keep making them worse. Maybe I couldn't change government policy, but I didn't have to consent to it. I stopped voting and I've never looked back. If I can do it, anyone can do it. But there's so much pressure to vote that we can't do it by ourselves, so we need to support each other. Thank you.

  11. A true vote is with your money, follow that trail and you see Banksters, international and domestic controlling your elections and elected officials.
Buy raw foods and better yet barter always where ever you can. Government will not awake to your commands until you follow the money and stop these murderous thieves begging and provoking for wars, drugs, perversions of all kinds.
Stop buying their corporate poisons, it is better for you in every way, let them die of having none of our attention, let them fade away right of the pages of history. Remember the Kings and Queens of the world only exist by the peoples power.

    1. This is the correct, and perfect strategy. We, the People, must become more self-reliant, and by doing so, we become FAR LESS dependent upon government - for anything. IF we work on ourselves, to become more self-reliant, and work together, via barter, trade, buying local, buying organic, buying used, etc - it effectively cuts off those we don't really need anyway - ESPECIALLY at the Federal level.

  12. Americans, please do not allow the level of corruption to cause you to despair. This sense of hopelessness is EXACTLY what the control freaks on Wall St. and their puppets in D.C. want you to have. They want you to feel powerless, when, in fact, the TRUTH of the matter is this: IF AMERICANS WANT CHANGE - THEY MUST CHANGE THEMSELVES. Gov't poses itself, as being there "to help". ("Hi! I'm from the gov't and I'm here to help!" When you hear this - RUN FOR THE HILLS! Because, before long, you'll either be in a FEMA Camp, or shot dead by militarized police. Which is exactly where we are at now.) Ron Paul is correct. WE HAVE FAR MORE GOVERNMENT THAN WE NEED. ONLY RON PAUL WILL CUT SPENDING. Which, of course, is why Romney and Santorum keep on winning, even in States with a HUGE Ron Paul turnout. I know, it's crazy, this level of ignorance, stupidity, and corruption. PROTECT YOURSELVES, but do not despair. This current system is already beginning to CRACK in MAJOR WAYS. Have you seen how many bankers have recently been turning in their resignations - jumping ship? There is also a new exchange being put in place (to follow through, on the blocked "PAGE" exchange), that will likely be a death-blow to the Western Central Bankers. We can only hope, that this will happen sooner, than later. In the meantime, get prepared. Protect yourselves!

    1. Right on !!! It isn't "power to the people" - the people ALREADY HAVE THE POWER (IN NUMBERS) - THEY JUST NEED TO EXERT IT! It's like this: if ONE person stops going to movies, for an example, it has little effect. IF EVERYONE stopped going - HOLLYWOOD would come to an end. THAT is the power of the people. IF ONE person stops shopping at BIG box stores, like Walmart - it would have no effect. IF EVERYONE stopped - WALMARTS WOULD CLOSE. THAT is the power we have. Each individual can make such choices for him or herself - and, together - we can all make a huge difference, in the direction of this country. WATCH VERY CAREFULLY WHAT YOU DEVOTE YOUR TIME, MONEY AND ATTENTION TO.

    2. There are many small steps, we can all take, individually, to begin to change the direction of this country: 1) Turn off the t.v., 2) obviously: Think for yourself, 3) Question "Authority", 4) Get out/Stay out, of DEBT, 5) Use cash, as much as possible, instead of credit or even debit cards, 6) Do not use customer "loyalty" cards, or discount cards, 7) Bank at a local credit union!, 8) Exercise your natural, God-given RIGHTS, while you still can! You have the RIGHT, to own a FIREARM, to protect yourself and your family - READ THE 2ND AMENDMENT TO THE U.S. CONSTITUTION!, 9) Buy used, especially used music cds, or movies, but also by buying used, rather than new, the money stays local and/or, in the U.S., 10) Buy products made in U.S.A.!, 11) INVEST IN PRECIOUS METALS, especially SILVER (or gold) physical bullion (coins, bars), and take possession - have it shipped directly to you, 12) Buy organically-grown food.

Below is advice from John Perkins' book, entitled THE SECRET HISTORY OF THE AMERICAN EMPIRE (The Truth About Economic Hit Men, Jackals, And How To Change The World), pp. 322-329: Quote:

      "AVOID SHOPPING AS 'RETAIL THERAPY'
(Instead, jog, meditate, read, or find some other solution).
SHOP CONSCIOUSLY - if there is something you must have, purchase items whose packaging, ingredients, and methods of production are sustainable and support life.
MAKE EVERYTHING YOU OWN LAST AS LONG AS POSSIBLE PURCHASE AT CONSIGNMENT AND THRIFT STORES - where everything is recycled [used].
Write letters telling Monsanto, De Beers, ExxonMobil, Adidas, Ford, GE, Coca-Cola, WALMART, and other labor exploiters and environment destroyers why you REFUSE to purchase from them.
CUT BACK ON OIL AND GAS CONSUMPTION!
DOWNSIZE (your car, home, wardrobe) - everything in your life (and don't buy what you don't need) SUPPORT/SEND MONEY only to non-profits, radio stations, and other organizations that promote JUST causes.
VOLUNTEER your time and energy to such organizations.
SUPPORT LOCAL MERCHANTS [Especially stores which sell organically-grown food]!
ENCOURAGE stores to buy from local growers, producers, and suppliers.
Shop at your LOCAL FARMERS' MARKET
AVOID DRINKING WATER THAT IS FLUORIDATED (only your toothpaste should have non-industrial fluoride)
INSIST that those who use your money - banks, pensions, mutual
funds, companies - make socially and environmentally responsible
      investments." End quote.

      13) Research every company whose products or services you buy,
      14) Research every organization to which you donate your money,
      15) VOTE WITH YOUR DOLLARS!
      16) Watch FREEDOM TO FASCISM, a film by Aaron Russo; Also - ENDGAME, a film by Alex Jones
      17) Expand this list, and share it with everyone you know...

  16. NOT voting is the same as voting for either of the corrupt two parties.
In the last election during the final debates all we saw were TWO bought and paid for puppets on stage trying to appear to have opposite agendas. I could not stomach voting for this idiot mccain just because he was an alternative to a questionable obama. I realized this when on my ballot there were SIX candidates for president, SIX not only the TWO dupes given to us on stage.
I voted Chuck Baldwin of the Constitution Party
So please people, do not be dismayed and give up, there are alternatives.
When enough people have woken up and realize we are an occupied country by a foreign nation we can break the backs of these corrupt obedient parties and hopefully have freedom again

    2. Ben,
You can do as any of us have already started to do, call for the arrest and prosecution of every domestic enemy we have within the three branches of OUR government. Here are some of the crimes:
I charge that Barack Obama has not done the duties required of the President of the USA as defined by the US Constitution, actively and knowingly went against the duties of the POTUS; and needs to be impeached. That he ran for and went into the Office of the president of the US knowing that we had the US Constitution which is the blueprint for how our government operates. Knowing that the US Constitution also guarantees that no one within our federal government may take away from, or do away with any Rights. That our federal government is a three-branch government and that the POTUS blueprint lies in the executive branch; not in the legislative or judicial branches. That he also knew before running as a candidate that our US Constitution puts limits on the federal government that cannot be legally put aside. The reason that I say he “knew” before running and then taking office these things is because he represented himself to the voting public as a Constitutional law professor before he became a senator. (This also applies to congress, except the Constitutional law professor)
The Constitution of the United States specifies that an officer is to be impeached for "high crimes and misdemeanors"; experts agree that impeachment is permitted for noncriminal misconduct (e.g., violation of the Constitution), and can include criminal/civil actions; meaning both indictable offenses and other serious noncriminal misconduct. The latter has included corruption, dereliction of constitutional duty, and violation of limitations on the power of an office, not keeping the Oath of office, lying to congress and the American people, Actively and knowingly went against the US Constitutional and the citizens of the United States, Conduct seriously incompatible with either the constitutional form and principles of our government or the proper performance of constitutional duties of the executive, legislative, judicial branches.

  18. Sherrie,
I wholehearted ovestand your fustration with voting and I myself cast my last vote in 2008 for former congresswoman Cynthia Mckinney. Most of my africans in america thought I had totally lost my mind. However, I knew base on my research on Obama, that this historical event was a sham. Plus Obama is not the first so called black president as George Washington was not the first president either. It was a moor name John Hanson, whom was the first president.

I do recommend that you now become a conscious revolutionary anarchist in your own way. Hopefully, this will restore your faith in making a real change in this corporate police state.

EL Hajj Malik Shabazz better known as Malcolm X talk about in many of his speech's about the Ballot or the Bullet. I'm not advocating violence, however if we the people cannot get justice via the ballot or voting reform. Then we must execute the overthrow of this current system and re-establish the current constitution or create a new one, which is our right.

Power to the People & Ready for the Revolution.

  19. So, you finally got it. I suppose better late than never, although there could have been at least a chance to save the nation if this common sense idea had insinuated its way into the fabric of society during Vietnam...., but given the well traversed road we have traveled since that time...is there really anything "worth" saving? Tell me, what was the impetus that caused you to lose hope in the vote? I myself, have never voted for these plastic people, never was convinced that their spiel was worth the effort. So, I'm just curious to know the final trigger that caused you to realize that its all a farce.
Actually, instead of grieving, I think we should all learn the fine art of when to stop rolling the dice and walk away. Because, as far as the rest of the world is concerned, this little "experiment" in democracy needs to go the way of the dinosaur, because it ain't working, at least not for them. No sense in trying to revive dead weight, is there?

  20. Thanks! Sherrie! Reading this described exactly how i feel...I also liked how you sprinkled the truth about Rush...yep it's time to stop dividing evryone....before governments, it was primarily religions, race, creed, sexual identity, lack of religion, etc.
Question, How many people do you know that put their pants on both legs at a time?

  21. Wow. Thank you Sherrie. Before today, I had never read or talked to anyone who had the same feeling as I had on inauguration day. I voted for Obama and was filled with hope and excitement when he got elected.
But as soon as he came out of the building on his way up to the podium on inauguration day, I knew something wasn't right. I saw and felt that his energy had shifted in a dark way somehow. Watching him deliver his speech was chilling, and I knew he was "gone." I will not vote again either (unless Dennis Kucinich gets back in the game at some point) because the vast majority of national politicians are also "gone," controlled by forces in the shadow government.

  22. Good for you. It takes a while for some and for some it never happens but you seem to get it.

It would have been a better option to vote for someone who will represent the public interest. Two candidates come to mind: Jill Stein and Rocky Anderson.

I understand why you voted for Ron Paul but he is anti-government. I'm unsure of many things but what I'm not unsure of is our need for good effective government.

Any candidate you are allowed to hear from will not be a candidate who will represent the citizens of this country. Stein and Anderson are unknown to most Americans by design. They are not allowed air time in our mass media and then we are told they are unknowns. This is no accident.

  23. I want freedom. Canada is the same. It is one big fraud. I am an earthling not a Nationality. We are born in a place then we are called that place. Why do we have borders? Why can I not go anywhere on earth when I want without someone asking where I am going and how long will I be there. These control freaks have made this earth into a prison. Shut up, pay your taxes, do what I say or you will be jailed, perhaps torchured or killed. What happened to FREEDOM. Did I give up my rights to go where I want when I want, say what I want when I want, do what I want when I want. I do not want to cause harm to anyone yet the control system treats us all like we are criminals. Now they are poisoning us all with Chem trails, monsanto foods, and radiation. I want FREEDOM. I have always been a spiritual person and I think I know why that is on a rise. It helps to give us a sense of freedom. We feel we may find justice and truth, and we allow our minds a few moments to escape this horrific reality. Do you remember that song from years gone by " We shall overcome ". Take care my fellow inmates. Be true to yourself and enlighten others!

  25. The only way to take power for the people is for the people to stop delegating our power to representatives we can't control.

Congress is irrelevant. The Secretary of Defense recently told Congress that before going to war the President seeks UN and international approval, not the approval from Congress that the Constitution mandates. But when the President doesn't get international approval, the US acts unilaterally. The agenda is controlled by the global 1% and the agenda is always war. The last US President who tried to stop the wars was JFK and he was assassinated. The US military-industrial complex has killed millions of innocent people, including many democratically elected heads of state. It is in the mass murder or genocide-for-profit business, and Presidents either obey or get killed.

I've been urging people to boycott elections for years. The Constitution was written to ensure that the popular vote would not be the final say and that even when Amendments were ratified, it would be an unelected Supreme Court that had the final power to "interpret" them, and the Supreme Court often "interprets" the Constitution to mean the exact opposite of what it clearly says.

I'm sorry for those who think that Ron Paul, Dennis Kucinich, or anyone else could change the system. I am opposed to organized crime, so I won't join the Mafia and vote in its elections (if they have any), or try to become a Mafia godfather. I am opposed to racism, so I don't join the Ku Klux Klan or the Aryan Warriors and try to vote in their elections (if they have any) or try to become one of their officers or leaders. I am opposed to the genocidal US capitalist imperialist system, so I don't run for office or vote in its elections. I don't participate in things that I oppose.

When I oppose something, I withdraw my participation and support from it, and I work against it instead of trying to work within it. That is called noncompliance. It is peaceful, nonviolent, completely legal, and effective.

Those interested can read more about boycotting elections here:

    http://fubarandgrill.org/node/1172

and also in a recent discussion here:

    http://www.occupycafe.org/forum/topics/hr-347

The act of voting is the act of delegating your power to people over whom you have no control. That is the height of irresponsibility and apathy. You wouldn't turn over your bank account to people over whom you have no control, so why would you give them the national treasury? You wouldn't give loaded weapons to people over whom you have no control, so why would you give them war powers?

The Anonymous comment on Mar 7, 2012 at 08:54 AM was correct:

"Let them announce they have a mandate from just 5% of the population. Don't add your vote to their totals since it won't be counted correctly anyway!

    YOUR VOTE WON'T CHANGE ANYTHING!!"

But not voting can change things. If we stop playing their game, they'll lose their illegitimate power because the only power they have derives from the fact that people vote for them. According to a Rasmussen poll, most voters believe that people chosen at random from the phone book could do a better job than our elected politicians. They're right, but they can't stop voting. Many people derive their identity, if not their livelihood, from partisan politics. Maybe what we need are "Voters Anonymous" meetings to help people with electoral addictions.
