All nuclear power plants need to be shut down immediately. Japan shows it is not worth having nuclear power.
Governments and those involved in nuclear power claim that it is safe and it is the cleanest energy. Japan has proved that wrong. It shows one event can cause the pollution of the Earth in such a toxic way that the oceans are being destroyed as Japan dumps radioactive water into the ocean. The air and land is being made toxic not to be able to be used for thousands of year (plutonium) and officials are still saying it is the "cleanest and safest" form of creating energy?
The corporations and governments of the world have suppressed real and non toxic clean energy for decades. They have suppressed it for paper (fiat money). They have kept the magnetic energy, compressed air energy, battery energy, water energy and all others from coming on the market. Through the Greed of those in power our Earth is now being made Toxic. It will never recover in the next generations.
It so saddens me that my child will never be able to do what I have done on this Earth. I have been blessed with a beautiful life in that I have been able to see and experience many different aspects of this gorgeous world which sustains us all. The Earth is beautiful in every way! The Earth sustains us in every way. We are here only due to our Earth being the most beautiful planet in the Universe! How is it those in power are willing to let her die in every way? They too live here. Do they not think of their children and grandchildren when they are destroying the Earth?
How politicians and those in control of corporations can say Nuclear Energy is safe and non toxic has always bewildered me. The spent fuel of all nuclear plants has to be stored somewhere and that spent fuel is toxic in every way. So the Earth has been been dumped upon in various locations of toxic material that will take thousands of years to become safe. With that fact alone, not counting accidents how can politicians with a straight face say it is "Clean Energy"? It is the MOST unclean energy there is!
Now Japan has had it's nuclear accident. It is not just the one nuclear power plant but 2 other nuclear power plants that are being kept out of the public eye, have melted down completely from what I can gather. The Onagawa Nuclear Power plant in the North Eastern area of Japan from what I could find has melted down. The other Fukushima plant 7 miles north of the one the media has paid attention to is in meltdown. Those two may have actually fully melted down. You won't hear about them in the media as that would cause too much of a stir against nuclear power. The media will only mention the 6 reactor Fukushima and that is only very briefly now.
Japan is now dumping the radioactive water in the ocean! I want to make this Clear............ The Ocean is NOT OWNED by governments or those who are in control of corporations! THE OCEANS ARE OWNED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE WORLD! THEY ARE EVERYONE'S OCEANS! But corporations are being allowed to contaminate EVERY ocean there is! BP was allowed to contaminate the Gulf of Mexico through oil and Corexit and artificial bacteria.
Sealife are washing ashore dead in the Gulf of Mexico and around the world in record amounts. Of course "Scientist (paid by BP), the media and the government have no idea WHY it is happening"!
UUhhh..... Let me let them in on a little secret............................ IT IS FROM THE F ING OIL SPILL AND CHEMICALS DUMPED IN THE GULF OF MEXICO - YOU GOVERNMENT AND CORPORATE SHRILLS!! You F ing A**Holes!
Yes, I get mad! I go inbetween anger and sadness in that corporations are allowed to make our whole Earth toxic and governments hide the fact! Canada has stopped registering radiation now due to "problems with their radiation detectors". Japan has hidden the real radiation amount from the people. The U.S. has stopped some of its radiation detectors and they are "under review" due to high radiation being found.
So the people are being kept in the dark as always about what is really happening and the MSM is helping the government do it.
The facts are the people will never be told how toxic our Earth is being made. The governments and media will say "No problems". Just as the government and media are saying "Go swim in the Gulf of Mexico and Eat the Seafood from there". Oh, don't worry about the dolphins and sea turtles floating dead beside you and ignore those that now have serious health problems all along the gulf......... there are other reasons that are "mysteries" right now for that happening.
I would also like to tell the MSM, Corporations and Governments of the world this:

As I said I have been VERY blessed in my life in experiencing the Earth in a multitude of ways. I have lived on her oceans, when I lived on a sailboat in the Caribbean sailing around all the islands and then lived in the Virgin Islands on land. I have lived in Austria (Kitzbuhel) Alps experiencing the beauty of the mountains. I have traveled to most of the continents seeing and experiencing the Earth in such a variety of ways. I still marvel at her beauty and I still think back often of some of the most spectacular moments and scenery from the places I have been blessed to see and experience around the world!
I also feel extreme sadness that my child may not be able to do as I have done in experiencing so many different aspects of the Earth.
We the People have a RIGHT TO DEMAND TRUTH AND FULL DISCLOSURE OF HOW TOXIC AND POLLUTED OUR EARTH IS BEING MADE BY THOSE WHO THINK THEY OWN THE EARTH!

This is why we as people need to evolve already and move on to clean effiencent energy. Come on Shutdown nuclear power plants and create solar panel plants safer way to create energy and provides more jobs for people instead of limiting it. My gosh grow up people all ya care about is money will money is forever but we are not.

ReplyDeleteAs a result of that incident, 237 people suffered acute radiation sickness (ARS), mostly firefighters and rescue staff, who worked on bringing the crisis under control.
ARS has a 60 per cent mortality rate within 30 days of exposure if those affected get immediate intensive care. It is based on exposure levels ranging from 4 to 6 sievert (Sv). Of the 53 people who died in Chernobyl, 28 died of ARS; 15 died of thyroid cancer and the rest from other causes.
Out of 72,000 people who worked during the emergency, 216 died from non-tumour related causes, whilst among those who developed a tumour the number of deaths was insignificant (between 1991 and 1998 because of the time lag between exposure and appearance of illnesses), proportionately no higher than the rest, unexposed part of the population.
The event was of course a great tragedy, but it must be judged against the danger that every human activity entails. By comparison, the number of people who died in the wind power industry since the 1970s stands at 73[2].
In order to determine the level of danger each form of energy carries, we must look at the actual amount of energy each generates (not their potential) over a given period of time, and view them in relation to the number of deaths each can be blamed for. In 2009, nuclear power generated 2.6 trillion kwh (= 2600 Terawatt-hour, TWh) against 340 TWh for wind power, a figure that has declined since 2006, whilst wind power output jumped quickly, increasing tenfold. From this, we can see that wind power is more dangerous than nuclear power. Data for coal and hydrocarbon-generated electrical power also show that nuclear is more advantageous.
If we compare the Fukushima plant incident to Chernobyl, the most significant fact relates to acute radiation poisoning. First, 6 sievert (which is the level of ARS) correspond to 6 million microsievert (μSv). At present, levels around the Japanese plant are about 10 μSvh, for now. Only in two or three reading posts along the ring that surrounds the evacuation area (10 kilometres) are levels higher (according to data[3] of the Japan Atomic Energy Agency, the highest figure was 80 μSvh at 11.30 am on 16 March at Reading Points 21 and 4). The highest radiation level recorded in Fukushima (nor a brief moment at Plant № 3) was 400 mSvh[4] (millisievert per hour). By contrast, at Chernobyl, near Reactor № 4, radiation levels were much higher, around 10,000 / 300,000 mSvh.
Of course, in Chernobyl there was a core meltdown, something that has not yet occurred in Fukushima. However, constantly comparing Fukushima to Chernobyl does not stand the test.
What are the real reasons behind this anxiety-generating mass campaign? We do not have anything to go on, yet. However, we shall consider the various elements and if there are any convincing facts, present them.

ReplyDeleteOH it is NOT that I am blindly saying this. Obviously you are not familiar with how the water is contaminated for THOUSANDS of Years! How it has to be stored somewhere and contaminates the areas it is stored! Look at the Hanford in Washington State is a contaminated area. I did lots of research on that.

Regarding the comment on the Gulf Oil, I have done lots on that! BP has gotten away with murder! People are sick the Gulf is Toxic and I won't eat on bit of seafood anymore from that area. Now I will have to stop eating sushi and fish from the Asia area. It is sad how corporations are destroying the Earth due to their greed. They have suppressed real clean energy for money!
You do understand that there is no energy source that is perfect right? The reason Nuclear Energy is being used is because: it has the highest amount of produce to the amount of material used, the waste that is produced is very small and though it does need to be stored and then moved to a location, which has to be checked geographically for whether or not it is safe, it has no green house gases, living next to a coal plant can have the same risk (or even more) of being exposed to radiation than living next to a nuclear power plant.

Water energy is not environmentally friendly, those turbines suck up a lot of water which more thank likely kills aquatic creatures. Air energy seems alright but those wind turbines need land cleared, which can cause a species to become extinct not to mention they are loud so no one can live close to them. Batteries have battery acid.
You do know that Uranium, the material that if used in nuclear power plants is found in the ocean right? And it is plentyful so we won't be running out anytime soon. There are elements and things that are on this Earth right now that were radioactive thousands of years before we even existed.
If you would like to go a little further then you might want to look at a place in West Africa, millions of years ago a chain reaction was set off naturally and then it took millions of years to decay, yes that is a risk and time that is needed in order to have an energy source that can be used for more then just electricity, and guess what? It happened, naturally.
This is complete retardedness. Please do some, actually do ANY, research before you make the kinds of statements you make. Where is your information? Where are your facts? Where are your sources? Do you know the difference between breeder reactors and reactors they built in 1954 like the Fukishima reactors? The fact that a 1954 nuclear plant was subjected to both an earthquake AND a tidal wave and still did not have a critical meltdown is PROOF that nuclear power is a safe option in the modern world. I mean if you are going to condemn an entire branch of technology because of an incident with an almost 60 year old plant subject to TWO natural disasters you clearly should have no say in any important topics. I hope that in the future people like you are not allowed to have pages like this any more as society abandons the ignorant and the stupid in favor of the informed and the sensible.
